Bluemercury's Deluxe Sample Bag

In celebration of their 12th birthday, Bluemercury was giving customers a deluxe sample bag with every $100 purchase.  I was in need of some major hair care products (I ran out of all my staples, all at the same time), so there was no doubt I was getting this sample bag...and I'm so happy I did!!

The first sample I got actually isn't in the bag.  The sales associate wanted me to try this out because I said I really liked Trish McEvoy.  She gave me a sample of Trish's Eye Base Essentials, which is a pre-shadow eye makeup primer.  The little tag says it's water-resistant, long-wearing, and crease-proof.  I really hope this is true because I'll be wearing eye makeup all weekend, without the chance to touch up much, and I really want to try this product out ASAP.

I'm SO happy I got  bliss lemon+sage body butter.  I have the lemon+sage body scrub (also from a Bluemercury sample bag) and I'm almost out of it, I love it.  The smell is so refreshing and clean, I just tried out the body butter (like, just now...) and it's not as thick as I thought it would be.  But, it really does smell great and I can tell it's super moisturizing.  The next product is the Bumble and Bumble creme de coco Masque.  The only hair products I really use are Bumble and Bumble, specifically their creme de coco line, it's really great for thick hair. (I bought the shampoo and conditioner which helped me get this bag!)  I've actually used this masque before and I really like it.  I accidentally left it at home though, in Jersey, so I'm glad I got this as a sample so I can use it now!

The sample bag also includes Deborah Lippman Rich Girl Anti-Aging Hand and Cuticle Cream.  I've never used this before, but I love deborah lippman nail polish, so I'm sure this will be a good product.  Next is Phyto Keratine Reparative Shampoo, which claims it restructures, prevents breakage, and restores softness.  I heavily color my hair and when it gets colder outside my hair completely flops and dries out, so I'm interested to see if I notice a difference when I try this!  Another product I'm happy I got is ReVive Cellular Repair Cream SPF 15.  This is obviously an AM moisturizer since it has SPF in it.  This product retails for $195, which I would never buy, so I'm super happy I can try it for a bit from this sample.  And, honestly, there is SO much product in this I think I'll be able to use it for quite a while! PS: I'm loving the scent, it's kinda orange-y which I now some people don't like, but I love it!

Next is the Supersmile Professional Whitening System.  You put this whitening accelarator on top of you toothbrush and then brush normally.  The box says it safely bleaches teeth when used for 2 minutes, twice a day.  Another product is Oribe shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair.  It claims to extend the life of your dye job and, in my opinion most importantly, protect against UV rays.  Most shampoo/conditioners do not have these protectants in them, and the sun can really damage dye jobs, especially if you're like me and have super dark hair!  The very last product I pulled out of the bag was Sabonete Aromatico Favorito Red Poppy Mini Soap.  It smells good, and I love hand soap...there's something classic about it, I think.  I love the packaging too, I just hope it's moisturizing and not drying...but, we'll see!

PS: Anything product that doesn't have a link is not sold on the website.  If you're interested just pop into the store to see if they have it!
