Winter AM Skincare Routine

Make sure you enter my Philosophy's Twas the Night Before Giveaway, here!! Ends December 13! Spread the word, xo.

Since the weather has definetely been changing recently, I too need to make some changes...to my AM & PM skincare routines.

I have combination skin in the winter, so I make sure I balance everything out.  On a typical day I just follow up with Laura Mercier's Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer ,for a little extra coverage, and mascara for a simple look.

PS: Click the links for each product's review, written by me!

2. I spray a couple of spritzes of Philosophy's Hope Springs Eternal Hydrating Mist all over, and let it sink in for a second.

3. I use a tad of Murad's Acne Treatment Gel as my serum. I just recently purchased this product, I haven't written a review on it yet since it is still new to my routine and I don't have a concrete opinion yet, but so far it's not bad!

4.  Next I use Origins GinZing Eye Cream, I apply it using my ring finger...and I gently pat in the product underneath my eyes.

5. Lastly, I follow up with Origins VitaZing, my favorite product on the planet.  It does have pigment to it, but not a ton, so I use the tinted moisturizer over it just as a little extra coverage, especially since it is the winter!

What are some of your winter-skincare products?  I'm always looking for new ones to try out =]

  2. I have oily skin, so normally I use a lightweight moisturizer (one with SPF in the am and argan oil at night), but to try and prevent dry patches, at night i've been using a richer cream. So far I'm loving Jurlique's Herbal Night Recovery Cream. It's not too heavy and my skin feels so good when I wake up!
